Invention:

In 1886, Coca-Cola was invented by a pharmacist named John Pemberton, otherwise know
as “DOC”. He fought in the Civil War and at the end of the war he decided he wanted to invent something that would bring him commercial success.

Usually, everything he made failed in phormaies. He invented many drugs, but none of them ever made any money. In his time, the soda fountain was rising in popularity as a social gatherity spot. Temperance was keeping patrons out of bars, so making a soda fountain drink just made sense.

And this was when coca-cola was born.

The Coca-Cola Company:
In 1892, Candler set out to incorporate a second company “The Coca-Cola Company”. When Candler had the earliest records of the “Coca-Cola Company”- burned in 1910.

After Candler had gained a better foothold on Coca-Cola in April 1988.

After long process.

On September 12, 1919, Coca-Cola Company was purchased by a group of investors for 25$ million and reincorporated.

In December 1991, Coca-Cola Enterprises merged with the join Coca-Cola Bottling Group.

21-St Century:

On July 5, 2005, it was revealed that Coca-Cola would resume operations in Iraq for the first time since the Arab League boycotted the company in 1968. Finally, in modern day Coca-Cola is very-very famous.

Advertising:

Coca-Cola's advertising has significantly affected American culture. Coca-Cola advertises its products with television, famous people and etc.

Holiday Campaigns:

The "Holidays are coming!" advertisement features a train of red delivery trucks, emblazoned with the Coca-Cola name and decorated with Christmas lights, driving through a snowy landscape and causing everything that they pass to light up and people to watch as they pass through.

Sport Sponsorships:

Coca-Cola was the first commercial sponsor of the Olympic games, at the 1928 games in Amsterdam, and has been an Olympics sponsor ever since.

In Mass Media:

Coca-Cola has been prominently featured in countless films and television programs.
